My wife and want to book this for our January trip, but I am nervous about paying all of that money and possibly not getting a view of the castle and fireworks! If I can't see that, then I would rather just pay for garden view concierge instead. Does anyone know if all of the LVC rooms view the castle?? I assume that Hawaii is the building for this!?

Any help would be great appreciated!! :earsboy:

Yes, all the lagoon view rooms face the MK and you can see the castle. A few are partially blocked by trees or bushes but I think Tikiman said those are being trimmed again.

It is an awesome view. Happy planning!

After making your reservation you can start contacting Polynesian IPO (planning offices) and give them your room request, they will be more than happy to accomodate you. I'd request a third floor room close to the lounge. :3dglasses

Thanks guys, you are fast!!! :earsboy:

Also, I have heard that some 2nd floor rooms don't have balconies. Is that in all buildings?? If so, I will definitley request the 3rd floor, but it would stink to not have one!!!

I stayed LVC last summer...it was great..totally worth it.

Just finished a week at the Poly. If you want a great view but do not go concierge level ask for the third floor in the Tahiti builbing. Definately a great view in most rooms. :goodvibes ::MickeyMo

In Hawaai, no second floor rooms have balconies. That is true of all the original buildings.

Part of 3rd floor is smoking optional.

First floor rooms have spacious lanais.

I've heard nothing but great things about the Tahitii building!! If we don't go concierge, I"m thinking I will request that!!

I definitley want a balcony, so I'll request the 3rd floor. If not, I'll try for a first floor, but I"m assuming that the view will not be as good!?

I have some pics from the 3rd flr balcony in my signature.

The view from the first floor rooms is fantastic. Tikiman has pictures that illustrate the difference between 1st and 3rd floors but in essence it is that the distance from the Polynesian to the MK is so great that the extra 20 feet or so in heighth just make no difference.
