So we are driving over from Clearwater and hoping to get to the poly by 10 ish....we were going to start at super target and get snacks etc first. We have dinner at Ohana at 520pm....my plan was just to hang out at the resort for the day, will there be enough to do to keep my dd's entertained? Or should we do DTD first, I was considering skipping it this time.
(Fingers crossed that the pool is open on time)

I think you'll be fine. Ya'll can go swimming, relax in your room, or walk around & to GF too. Have fun!

Thanks. I never thought about going to the GF. This is our first time onsite! What do people do when they tour resorts?

If you get bored at the Poly you could also head over to Fort Wilderness. They have pony rides for $5 for the young kids. They also have a nice playground. And I think there may be a few other things to explore, too.

To get to Ft Wilderness you have to get to the MK first. From there you can get on the boat to Ft Wilderness. You can get to MK several ways:

1. walk to the transportation and ticket center and take the ferry to MK
2. take the monorail to MK, then catch the boat
3. I think there is a boat directly from the Poly to MK, although I'm not sure about that

The boats and monorail could be fun. :)

I think you will have plenty to keep the kids occupied. They have pool games all day long and the pool alone will be enough. If not they can play in the sand or just wander around the main lobby and shop. If you need more jump on the monorail and check out the Grand or CR. There is an amazing arcade in the CR for the kiddos.
