Poly in August Who's going ??

Hi Deb,

The beach turned out to be great. It rained a little when we first arrived (that helped, no parking fee), but an hour later the sun was out. Erin was in the water 3.5 hours out of the 4 hours we were there. The water temp was nice and the crowds where low.

Hope the beach at the Poly will be just as good in Aug.

Oh well, back to planning our Aug. Poly stay.

See you in August.

We will be there also from Aug 23- 30. I requested the Tokelau or Samoa for location. It has been a long time since I have been back to the Poly, and I can't wait. It is my all time favorite hotel.

Hi Deb,

Guess what, we didn't make it to Disney today thanks to Hurricane Charley, our flight was cancelled from Islip.

However, we rebooked the airline and the Disney Poly for this coming Thursday, just in time for the next hurricane to possibly arrrive in Orlando. So if you make it down and we make it there, we could see each other at the Poly next week.

Good luck with your travels.

Tom

Hopefully we will see you next Mon the 23rd. No more Hurricanes !!!I will keep my fingers crossed....We have a dinner at the Kona Cafe that night for Kristen's Birthday....:bday:

We will be there Aug 24 thru 29th then going to HRH at Universal for two days. Ten days now and can't wait. :Pinkbounc

Deb,

What are your park plans for Tues & Wed of that week? Maybe we can connect one of those days.

I hope everyone who is waiting to go has a great trip. We sure did. There were 15 other DIS members there during our stay. Every time I saw someone wearing lime green I wanted to go up to them and ask them if there was a reason they wore that color. I was afraid they would think I was quite strange:tongue:
If you're back from your trip how was it?

We also had a wonderful trip to the Poly..Hawaii bldg...Weather was great inbetween 2 hurricanes. Saw almost everything without long lines. Rock N Roll Rollercoaster was down the day we did MGM. Oh well maby in December we can get on during the short Christmas trip we will be taking.::yes::

Hi everyone,
We also had a fabulous time on our trip. The Poly was great of course (Tokelau building). We really lucked out with the weather, being there between the two hurricanes. The overall best part of our trip was the Magical Fireworks Voyage. We didn't get to see the electrical water pagent because it was damaged in the first hurricane, but Wishes was spectacular. We also experienced very little or no wait time at all in all the parks. It was great!!

Aw shoot, it seemes like I'm gonna miss the party for we will be there at the end of July...first timers at the Poly...staying concierge as a birthday present for myself, and this counter cant go any slower!!!!:)

Hey I was at the Poly too Aug 21-28! Actually, the electrical parade was there for some of the nights during our trip, even though it wasn't supposed to be. Stayed on 1st floor Samoa, volcano side and it was awesome! (Of course I had to check in at 6 am to get that room, they had us originally for 2nd floor...) Now I'm spoiled, I want Poly/Samoa only!!

We were there Aug 22- Aug 29 at the Hawaii Building. We all enjoyed it. Already have the dates we're going next year!:D
