Hi Ho WDW Thrill Seekers!
Our normal WDW routine is to stay overnight at an Indianapolis airport hotel (Wyndham park and fly) and fly out first thing in the morning. This means the stress of getting to sleep, getting up around 3am, getting the shuttle (which isnt always timely, going through screening (they hate me), and trying to eat breakfast somewhere (if I dont eat I will get a headache). Last year was awful, I was exhausted by 3:00, I was not myself, and it took me a couple of days to get over it.
I was wondering what if: instead of staying overnight in Indy, we took a late flight (6pm to 8pm) and stayed at the MCO Hyatt overnight (rather than wasting a night at the Poly). We could get up refreshed, no stress, hop on MME, be at the Poly by 8am, and let the adventure begin! The money we save by taking a late flight roughly covers the price difference between the Wyndham and the Hyatt.
Has anyone done this? I have considered staying at Pop Century, but then you get into the whole resort change thing. The Hyatt sounds easy and care free
Thoughts or ideas - Thanks - Marty
