We have ressies at Contemporary but thinking about changing to Poly. If I call to book Poly can I request a longhouse (we are using points) I would like garden view, non smoking close to longhouse. Which longhouse would that be? Also are there elevators? Bad knees.

All rooms are nonsmoking now. There are elevators in all longhouses except Niue but there is an outside bridge between Raratonga and Niue on the 2nd floor. The elevator is right inside the door to the bridge so very convenient for Niue.

And those are the two longhouses I would request if I were you. Both are steps from a side entrance to the GCH and the elevator is near that entrance. If you will be taking the buses, the bus stop is closest to the other end of Raratonga.

Forgot, I would ask DRC to note that you're requesting specific longhouse(s) because of bad knees.

We stayed in the Samoa long house building which was closest to the longhouse, we had a great room on the first floor looking out at the volcano pool with the GF in the distance. You have a stretch of grass between the room and the walk way which will be great for you if you have difficutlies with your knees.

We faxed our request to stay in the Samoa 48 hours before we flew because we were told by disney it was not always possible to provide guests with their specific room choices everytime however they try and accommodate you as much as possible.

Thanks one more question- is there an balcony on each room? I liked that the Contemporary tower had baconies. Are all the rooms done bing refurbished?
