or area? We're really not picky, but if there's a section better than others I'd like to know.

Thanks,

There really are not any bad rooms - but your request may depend upon your preferences. If you want to be close to the lounge, you will want a 2nd floor room, but the 2nd floor rooms do not have balconies.

The 3rd floor rooms do have full balconies, while the first floor rooms have patios.

Please keep in mind that some of these rooms are smoking, so you might want to request non-smoking (or smoking if you're one).

We had room 2525? or 2527? Something like that. It was 1/2 way done facing the quiet pool. 2nd floor. I thought OH no no balcony. I was upset, till we walked in, and it was wonderful. perfect. Nice view far enough way, but close enough too. some rooms closer to the lounge had a view of Samoa or the back of the "pool house". You want to be 1/2 to the end near Tokelau. ;) Don't worry about the balcony. The door opens fully, and you have a rail, so its pretty close to a balcony. ;) The balcony above shades your room, so no sun in your eyes. ;) Have a great time.

The smoking rooms are half the 3rd floor and on the garden side they are rooms 3519-3524. The second and third floors are non-smoking. I would only suggest trying to stay away from the end near the lounge because those rooms look toward the corner of Samoa Longhouse and the service elevator and housekeeping storage is down at that end and can create some noise. The rooms that may get this noise would be X534-X532 (put the floor number in place of the “X”).

There was also a room down toward the other end on the 3rd floor around 3521 or 3522 that you looked right into the top of a palm tree. Our friends were put in this room and requested to move but there was no other rooms but they worked it out that they got a room in Samoa facing the volcano pool and still got access to the lounge in Hawaii. This is rare but shows you that if you are nice they will do what they can to make you happy.

Check out my Hawaii page to get an idea of the view and what rooms may have more plants around them. Not that you can just pick what room you want but at least you will have an idea if you have a selection when you get there. It may be there are no other rooms and even the worst room is not bad, You just may be looking at more plants than pool.

We stayed on the second floor but I don't remember the room number. We really liked our room and having the lounge close by. We didn't really miss having a balcony either. Have fun!!!!
