I've never been to the Polynesian before, so I think it's about time. Me and my fiancee are going to stay there sometime early next year. Quick question though...

What's a faster way of getting to MGM (with more room to sit)...walking to TTC and taking a bus or waiting for a bus (which stops at GF 1st)

I love the fact that we could take the monorail to MK and Epcot, but MGM, AK, and DTD are so far away... which do you suggest?

I don't know if you can say which would be faster, since it all depends on how long you have to wait for the bus to come. But even if you have to stop at the GF, it only takes an extra minute or 2 since it's right next door. I wouldn't worry too much about bus transportation. It will be fine.

Have a great trip!

Something else to think about is where your room is located. We were in Tahiti so it was closer to walk to the TTC MGM stop than to the Poly bus stop.

The actual stops they make to the GF don't add much time at all onto the total trip.

The buses that leave from the TTC go to where? the parks? and DD Disney? Are they empty when you catch them at the TTC? How often do they run to and from the TTC?

This will be our 1st time at the POLY this year and I wasn't aware that you could catch buses from the TTC.

The Disney busses from the TTC go to MGM and AK. Yes, they should be empty (everybody on the bus should be getting off).

Even though it is mentioned in the various transportation wizards on the net, there is no bus service between the TTC and DTD.

They run pretty much the same schedule as the resort busses - every 15-20 minutes.
