Poly experts --- monorail questions

We will be staying at the Poly in October for the very first time! We're trying to decide which longhouses we'd like to request, knowing there are no guarantees of our placement. I need some clarification please on the monorail.

TAHITI - If staying in Tahiti or nearby, would you walk to the TTC to catch the monorail to the MK or would you walk to the Ceremonial House to hop on? If you get on at the CH, is the next stop the TTC just a short ways away?

EPCOT - It's my understanding that to take the monorail to and from Epcot from the Poly, you board and unboard at the TTC, is this correct? So, folks from the Fiji side of the Poly walk through the resort to the TTC to get on to head to Epcot? Or, is there a platform to board for Epcot inside the CH?

I guess you can tell I need it spelled out!! LOL! Thanks in advance!

To go to the MK from anywhere in the Poly, I would go to the CH and board the monorail. It will be less crowded than the monorail at the TTC. The resort monorail goes clockwise, so the next stop from the Poly is the GF. The express monorail goes counterclockwise from the TTC to the MK (those are the only two stops).

To go to Epcot, you must board the monorail at the TTC. That is the only stop, other than Epcot, for that particular monorail. No platform for the Epcot monorail at the CH.

to get to the MK either way. walk to TTC and take the express monrail or ferry (like the ferry better) to the MK.

or walk to CH and take the resort monrail - it stops at GF then the MK.

or walk to the boat dock and take the little boat it also stops at GF then MK.


for EPcot - just walk over to the TTC and take the monrail to Epcot directly.

you can take the CH monrail - it will stop at GF, MK, CR, then TTC - you get off walk over to the Epcot monrail and take it.

much easier to just walk to TTC and take the Epcot monrail.

at TTC watch the signs - seem people get on the express monrail to the MK when they wanted the Epcot monrail and vs....

one poor lady had been going back and forth the Epcot and MK ferry monrails - she did not understand to get to the CR (her hotel) she needed to go to the resort monrails...
