So this will be our 15th trip to WDW, last yr it was just me and DH we stayed at the Poly for the first time and CL to boot! I knew we would be spoiled rotten and we were so we are back again Sept3-9th this time taking the teens..This will be there first trip staying at the Poly. They have been there several times for Ohana and KOna but thats it.
DS17- David, turns 18 month after trip. Disney World lover and knows so much Disney history. Plans on joing the college or career program.
DD14-Amanda turns 15 in Nov. A Disney lover as well but not quite like the rest of us, she is a thrill ride junkie and has a sweet tooth, her fave food at WDW is the Kona cone.
DH-Fell in love with WDW on our honeymoon in 2008, Helps to feed my WDW obsession and is even going all out on a DIsney World Vow Renewal next yr! My soulmate and best friend, I wish I would have met him years ago, would have saved me so much heart ache.. BUT..Im a lucky lady now!
We always drive down to Orlando and stay in a DTD resort so we can check in bright and early to our WDW resort for our first day and enjoy a full day at the parks and resort.
This yr we are staying DTD Hilton, we booked the stay and play package that comes with 4 Disney Quest tickets, my family loves DQ so it was a very good deal money wise! We stayed here in June and thought it was a wonderful Hotel!
First day we will leave our home in SC at 430am and arrive at DTD Hilton around 11, check in and head to Cooks of Dublin, DS request for parmesan garlic fries and then to DQ. After DQ head back to Hilton and swim and then shower and get ready for our 6pm Trex ADR. This is one my DH requests every yr, we all love it, well DS can take or leave it.. After dinner we will shop before heading back and hitting the sheets
Next morning we will get up early and check into th ePoly CL around 730 or 8am, have breakfast in the CL and hop the monorail to MK. We normally take a break to come back and swim and relax and snack in the CL. This nights dinner is Ohana and its a evening EMH so proabably head back to MK
Next day is HS we will break around 2 and swim and then our dinner ADR is Cape May(a first for us) maybe we will go back to HS after?
Fourth day is EP, we have to have an early lunch b/c we have an appt at Francks studio to go and view Wedding pavillion, Ariels and Living Seas Salon, Im so excited about this! I cant wait to sign the contract and get this Vow Renwal up and running, its a dream come true
Dinner is Capt Grill and Im sure we will head back to EP
5th day is MK again,son will have to leave MK and go to HS for his dining with an Imagineer lunch, then we will break and go swimming then head back out, we have a Calli Grill ADR, kids first time, I just LOVE the sushi here, we will watch Wishes from here than go back to the Poly
Last park day
EP we have Biergarten lunch ADR(first for DH, he has been asking for this) then a La Hacienda dinner ADR.
Somewhere in all this we will suprise the kids with searaycer rentals for both of them and Im thinking of doing a in room suprise for DS, the trip is to celebrate his senior year!
Also trying to think of things I can use to make little gift baskets for everyone as a suprise. Since we are CL we dont need snacks.. Thinking WDW shirts, bath and body works stuff for DD but I have no ideas for DH and DS! Any suggestions??
