Poly dream

I have always wanted to stay at the poly. It's a dream of mine. A travel agency is having a deal where I could get either the poly, wilderness lodge or beach club at essentially same price. The monorail sounds so awesome. Our favorite park is magic kingdom. We have previously stayed at

Port Orleans French quarter favorite!
Coronado springs business class amazing
Port Orleans riverside which to me was meh

Free dining doesn't do much for me as it is just me and my daughter. Leaning towards beach club because we love pool days. Honestly we are not all day park commandos but just the idea of the poly .... They said the pool is down but they are doing transportation to grand Floridian pool

I have wanted to stay at the Poly since I was 7 years old. Every year, is supposed to be our Poly year, however, there is always something that would prevent us from booking (dislike of the room decor), then there was a refurb of the decor, (the new decor I love), but now the DVC construction and pool closure.

I know the TA deal you speak of, but even at that price, I cannot book the Poly. I want to stay there when I can experience everything the resort has to offer, and really have no interest in staying in the middle of a loud construction zone. The Poly is supposed to be a peaceful retreat, and right now, it is anything but. Just my two cents.

Now I just have to decide if I want to do disney without a meal plan... I like everything paid for before I get there... it is just so tempting to do the hotel deal with that TA even though I have never used a TA before

I booked that same deal with that same travel agent last week. It really is an awesome deal considering we're going over Thanksgiving which was blacked out on disney's site for discounts.

We went to wdw for the 1st time last year & stayed at the poly with the 35% off room only discount. It was wonderful but I didn't want to stay there with all of the construction going on.

I would have loved a monorail resort, but GF and CR/BLT weren't available for the discount. We were debating between WL & BC - We chose the BC and can NOT wait to be back at Disney!!
