We're thinking about the Poly and have a few questions. Do all of the Polynesian rooms have "daybeds? Also, are there special children's activities at the Poly, and where are they held? Thanks for your help.

I'm pretty sure they all do have daybeds - we had one in our room when we were there last summer. As for children's activities, they had some kids activities in the lobby every afternoon like flower lei making, coloring and they had a woman with a yukaleli (sp?) and some hoola-hoops for them. This was as of last summer, not sure if it's changed.

With the exception of suites, all rooms at the Polynesian do have day beds.

Besides the different activities in the lobby, movies or free time on the games are offered over by the Neverland Club in the afternoon. A parent must stay with the children.

When you check in, you'll get a newsletter with the schedule of activities listed.

When we stayed in the Polynesian several years ago, there were several nights when I slept in the day bed - it is a twin sized bed. Great for adults.

The daybed mattress is 72" long and 34" wide. Very comfortable!
