Poly Concierge Package ?s - specific to "included" UPH passes

I just booked my parents for 5 days/4 nights at the Poly Concierge to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary. I opted to have Disney include park passes. My question is this: the passes they receive as part of this package, how many days, are they only good while they are on this vacation or are they like park hopper plus passes and used days don't expire. I'm asking as I believe, given their flight schedule, that they will only be visiting the parks 3 days.

I know I can probably ask the Concierge rep. these ?s but I'm sure that someone on this board must know and I'm impatient (not too mention they leave next Friday, 1/23).

UPH tickets are good for the length of the stay. They expire when you leave.

If you purchase them when you arrive you can have the first and last days taken off. It would cost you less. If purchased as part of a package you may be able to get the first day taken off.

Keep in mind, depending on the promotion that was used when you booked the package (if any), you might "not" be able to remove the first or last day. Just an example--we tried to do this on our last trip. We were there for a long weekend. The price we were quoted was a promotional code for a 3 Day Pkg. inc. UP tix. We were flying out early on the last day so we asked if we could remove that day's tix. We couldn't because we had to have a "minimum" of 3 days in our pkg. of both room/tix--what was quoted on our promotional code. Does this make any sense? A 3-Day Pkg. is 3 nights at the resort and 4 days of passes. We could not do 3-Days resort/3-Days passes or we would have not qualified for the price we paid. Hope this helps!
