So far they sent us our planning sheet's at about 90 to 80 days out. We filled them in & sent back, they called (about 58 days out) left message and returned the call later. Very friendly & pleasant! No problems yet (hopefully NONE). Had all ps's & noted surprise b-day! Very excited! Now, let the excitment build!!! MKY

We received ours yesterday! It was too late.. I had already emailed Melissa at the Island Planning office and she already has us squared away on everything.. just waiting on Cindy's (w/fingers crossed)

mkymouse4ever, we'll just miss you. You will love the concerige service. We always ask for 1st floor, I have little ones who believe they are part primate. We steer clear of balconies. They like to watch the ducks, we had a heck of a time making sure our then 2 yo DD didn't chase them. She wanted to 'ug em'. Its also nice to just walk out the balcony door to the beach and watch the EWP and the firewalks with out fighting the crowds at the parks. Melissa is the best in the Island Planning office, she never misses a thing and always has some good suggestions if I get stuck on a PS.

Sounds like you might get our room, cause we check in july 24th and move to the swan on aug. 2 for another 9 nites! I am soooo excited! We have stayed at the poly before but never there concerige floor! So this will be a real treat. Will watch for your lime green ribbons, in the parks. MKY

Ok, this will be our first time at the Polynesian LV Concierge. We made the splurge based on all the great reviews on these boards. Just received my confirmation letter and it says LV but no mention of concierge ( the rate reflects concierge though LOL!). Called CRO and they said yes, it is in their system as concierge. Do your ressies show concierge? Why not put it on the confirmation letter? I'm not comfortable about this.

Barringer75, I looked at all of our previous stays confirmation letters and none of them say concierge anywhere. I would not fret about this especially if you have called and checked it out.
We have not had a problem yet!
Call again if it makes you feel better and ask them to confirm your reservation completely.

I've also been very concerned that our ressies for June 21 don't mention conceirge anywhere. We've changed ressies often due to different discounts and each time they said they have it conceirge listed on the computer.

I don't understand it though, because it seems like it would be a very easy thing to fix. The only good thing was that I was trying to surprise DH with conceirge, so it definitely helped when it didn't mention it on the ressie. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep the secret, it was just too good to keep!

I was worried about this to, cause I thought if the valet is supposed to whisk us off the the concerige building, they wouldn't take us, if it didn't say concerige. So I called, and they said no it doesn't, so they are all correct, as long as its in the computer, the poly will know when you get there! MKY

If you want to be "whisked" to concierge, you do need to let the bell services person know you are a concierge guest. The bell captain will then telephone the concierge lounge to let them know you have arrived and to see if your room is ready OR if they will need to store your luggage until later. Just a heads up--otherwise they will take your luggage and send you to the regular check-in desk.
