My family and I have reservations for November 2018, to stay Poly Club level. I have a quick question, I saw that the club lounge opens up at 7am, does that mean you can not get into the lounge until 7am? If you want to make it to the parks by 7am, is the lounge open to get at least a bowl of cereal or coffee prior to 7am? Thank you for your time and help.

It usually means you cannot get into the lounge until then. I'm surprised they don't have the coffee time part open at 6:30 a.m. like AK-Concierge. But at that time, all you get is coffee and whatever drinks they put into the fridge then.

The Poly CL lounge space itself is 'open' 24/7. Breakfast items won't be out/available until 7AM. The coffee station is usually set up by 6:30AM if not earlier. I will often go to the lounge very early to check up on e-mails, get some work done. Poly is not like some of the other CL lounges that actually close/lock the door between servings.

Getting food items before 7AM is possible, but you'll be relying on the friendliness of any given CM. They are usually busy preparing the morning offerings at that hour and can easily say "we'll have everything set up at 7AM" - just FYI.

Hope that helps.

I was really hopeing those cearael dispensers were accessible 24/7, so at least we could make use of the lounge before starting and early day.
Thank you for your input.

Well, the cereal, milk, and bowls are 'outside' of the portion of the food service area they 'rope off' when setting up services. You can see the milk setup on the "island" in the pic below, the cereal canisters are to the left.

The bigger question pre-7AM is if these - along with the bowls and spoons - will be set up yet. You do have a better chance of getting a quick bowl of cereal than you do, say, something set up behind the 'rope' - but you're still at the mercy of the order the CMs are putting out items.

Hope that helps!

Yes, thanks. I have seen similar pics with the cereal and juices/milk, and since they are in here own separate area I was hopeing it would be available earlier. Thanks for the info everyone.

I have another question. I have seen a bunch of pics from the Poly Club Lounge and it seems like the juices and milk are out most of the day. Is the cereal available all day?

Sorry to hog the responses here. No, cereal isn't out past breakfast. You can always ask a CM if they can get you some as it's in the back somewhere. YMMV on whether they'll do it, but 'usually' CL CMs will be quite helpful.

No Ive gotten in there before 7 and used the coffee machine, they didn't have anything set out yet but you can go in and grab sodas out the fridge and get coffee. I always got up early went and got DH and I coffee and then woke DH up and we would get ready and come down for breakfast later
Most time the CMs are so sweet and accommodating and you could get them to get you just about anything within reason..

The only club lounge I've had success getting breakfast from early was the Tower Club at the Contemporary. I am a very early riser, and even the quick service places that open at 6 aren't open early enough for me! Tower Club made sure I was able to get cereal, yogurt, and coffee. They even left out some pastries for my DD. Other clubs (the only ones where we've stayed are Atrium at the CR and RPC years ago at the GF) have offered to have something out with the coffee (usually 6 to 6:30), but the only one that was able to actually accommodate my crazy early habits was Tower Club. We also travel at some of the busiest times of the year, which I'm sure makes a difference. I would imagine when things are slower, the CMs would be able to be more accommodating.

It's always been a disappointment to me to not be able to enjoy the lounge breakfast. 7:00 seems late to me to eat breakfast, especially when parks often open at 8 (at least when we travel to Disney). When we stay at the club level, we try to plan at least one day/morning off from the parks to get breakfast at the lounge. We haven't stayed at Poly before have a club level stay there this summer and can't wait for it!!

A good idea may be to take some cereal and milk the day prior and store them in your room for the next day.
:goodvibes

When we've needed/wanted to eat super early we just take some stuff to our room the day before, usually yogurt, fruit etc.
As for cereal, if DGD wanted some we would put it in a coffee cup, put a lid on it and leave it in the room till morning. Same with a cup of milk in the fridge. We can keep a bowl and spoon but really, you can eat the cereal right from the coffee cup
There's lots of ways to use the coffee cups with lids to store foods for a day
