We are just back from a great stay at the Poly. The Poly has been on my list of places i want to stay at for many years, and we finally got there!
We got a "deal" on a CL room with garden view. Upon arrival, the hotel was delightfully un crowded. We were escorted to the Hawaii Bldg (not on golfcart) where we quickly checked in. We were given a MK view on the third floor! What a great bonus. Our room was 3501. The only time we heard any noise was in the morning, with people using the elevator right outside the door. The room location was great, right beside the door to the CL lounge. The view was spectacular.
I found the room to be in great condition. I really had no complaints with the room or decor. Everything worked properly. We loved the atmosphere and grounds. The pool was nice, and we loved sitting on the beach. I found it somewhat difficult to fully enjoy the place, and do the parks too!
The food offerings in the CL lounge were good. The kids enjoyed running by and getting soda whenever they wanted. The CL is a nice touch, but im not completely sure its worth the extra cost. All of the workers at the CL desk were friendly and helpful.
Bottom line.. we loved the resort and the room, enjoyed CL, but not sure if i would spend the money for it (cl) next time.
