Poly Bungalows

Staying at the bungalows in a few weeks. We did on-line check-in. Do they bring you out to the bungalows or do you just go out there on your own when the room is ready?

You just go to bungalow on your own. Check in is at the regular check in desk for the resort.

We stayed in one on opening night. We checked in at the normal lobby desk, but then they took us out to the bungalow via golf cart. Perhaps it's different now?

My experience was from October, so perhaps different, or just the day I checked in, no golf cart. Then again, the room wasn't ready when we checked in initially. Perhaps if your room is ready, they would offer the cart. We thought it was a great experience for two nights. Definitely not anything we would splurge on regularly, given the point cost and size. But for the first two nights of our stay last fall, there wasn't anything we didn't enjoy about the bungalow.

If you do online check-in they just text you the number and you can go straight to your room. We stayed as the second leg of at split stay, listed 6am as our desired check-in time, checked that early check-in was most important, and the room was ready at 6am.

Outstanding theming and location, but easily the smallest 2BR for the points of the GF 3BR. Basically sleeps 6 adults with a king, a queen, a pull-out, and the 2 murphy singles. Pretty cozy with 8 adults & older teens. We wouldn't stay more than a night or two at the most because of the points. Even though we have a lot between my sister's family and I you are using 2-3 nights of points per night at the other 2BR that are much larger.

It parks right in front of the the main area of the resort. View should be great as the Bungalows completely blocked our view from our lakeview rooms in Moorea.

We are staying in a Bungalow Sept. 21-28 on a cash reservation. We thought about renting points, but it wasn't really cheaper. Very excited!
