hi.

we'll be at the POLY in a month (YAHOO!) and i'm wondering about letting my kids play in the sand and water on the beach....when we were there in nov., the sand looked fine to play in (and my kids loved it while waiting for the fireworks the one night we visited there), but i've never really looked at it during the day. is it clean?

also, i know the water isn't for swimming, but can the kids get their feet wet or go in to get a bucket of water to make sand castles? is the water too dirty (or do they have such strict guidelines about being "in" the water) that we won't be able to use it at all?

thanks!

My DD always plays on the beach at the Poly. I buy her a sand bucket and shovel for .99 at the giftshop for her to use. She does go in ankle deep to get the water in her bucket. She doesn't lay down in the water either. After we are done with the bucket for our trip we give it to someone else that can use it.
