Poly availability- November

I have done a little searching and haven't seen this question asked yet.

How good is are the changes of a non-owner booking a studio this year (lake view or not), specifically in November (we are looking at the 11th-18th). By looking at the availability tool on the DVC website, it shows full availability, even during 4th of July & Christmas week. Can an owner confirm if this is accurate or not?

We're really hoping to stay there this year, I'm just wondering if realistically it will be at all possible.

I have yet to see that the availability tool has been accurate at all on the Poly Villas, I am not an owner but know that when I have tried to book rooms that show as available at the Poly they are not available for booking.

early october is being booked out day by day at 8:00am - don't know how long that will continue.
