Hi to all, I have just joined this forum and have been looking over the help that is provided to all. I'm sure that if I read it all, I would find this info, but, not having unlimited time and wanting personal stories, I decided to make this post.
DH, 12 yo nephew, and I will be visiting WDW in 8/08. 1st 3 days will be at BCV in a 1 bedroom villa. We will be moving for day 4 to the Poly for 3 nights before a 4 day cruise.
Some facts: While not mobility impaired, I have some mobility issues (knee and foot surgery) so being close to an elevator is an issue. But, with my nephew, I'd like to be close to the pool area so he can have a great time!
AT THE POLY: I do want a balcony so the 3rd floor seems to be needed. I prefer not to have a monorail or parking lot view. Can anyone help by providing what building at the Poly might be best for us. I know that a request is just that and cannot be guarenteed. I also know that Disney usually does all it can to satisfy a request.
AT THE BCV: Having stayed at the BWV, I know the location. But any recommendations for room locations? I usually prefer a higher floor - more chance of seeing Illuminations.
Any opinions will be appreciated. Thanks, Cruisin' Aunt
