Takes a little more time but this is delish!
Kielbasa - can also be done with sausage or ham too!
Head of Cabbage - shredded
Red Pepper (optional)
Bacon
1-2 Tomatoes
Small Onion
3-4 Beef Bouillon Cubes or 1 Can of Beef Stock
1 cup of water
Take some bacon (I usually do 1/2 the package) and brown it. Remove bacon from pan (this can be added in later if you wish but what you really want is the bacon drippings) Add onion to bacon grease and saute for a couple minutes. Add in kielbasa (sliced about 1/2" pieces) saute that for a couple minutes. Add in tomatoes (cut into cubes) and cover for about 10 minutes to reduce tomato(es) Add remainder ingredients - red pepper to taste, cabbage, cooked bacon if desired, boullon cubes/stock, and water. If you use canned beef stock omit water! Cover and let cabbage steam and liquid reduce - takes 10-15 minutes. You will have a tasty - as spicy as you desire - dish all in 1 pan. MY GF makes this and it is easier than it sounds and SOOOOOO good!
