Tomorrow I'm on Polling Day duty in one of the local Polling Stations. I've never done this before, so I'm quite looking forward to it, but I know it's going to be a very long day!
I have to report for duty by 6:30am and don't finish until 10:00pm, so I've packed lots of books and magazines, made a pile of sandwiches and I'm taking my own camping chair and cushion! Apparently there are only 180 registered electors for the 'patch' that I'll be on, so I can't see that we'll be exactly rushed off our feet!
What I would really like is a laptop to take along so that I could spend all day on the boards!
