Pollen vs Black Car

Pollen wins!

I give my car a good wash and dry yesterday - turning it back to its natural black state. 2-hours later, it's yellow again. Arrrgg. I shouldn't complain - it's just a car; I know the allergy sufferers much be going crazy.

Completely understand. My SUV is dark gray and for weeks now I have had a yellow tinge all over it. I usually at least rinse my SUV off before leaving just so the pollen doesn't get inside when I open the sun roof or windows.

I wash my new car at least once a week. It's burgandy(ish) and it's been getting filthy from the pollen. Luck though I get free car washes for life where I bought mny car.

It's raining here, so I left my black Miata outside to try and rinse the yellow off. (Maybe I should put the top down and wash this interior also???)

I can sympathize... but it's my lwn that has me annoyed. My beautiful green lawn is now white from the onslaught of cottonwood trees. It looks like it's snowing outside.

I've given up the battle w/ my black car. For fall/spring I say I have black, winter = grey from all the salt on the roads, summer = a lovely shade of pollen.

Pollen wins, dust wins, rain drops win, dirt wins. I had an off black 300M. Loved the car, hated the color. It only looked good the day it was washed. I now drive a white diamond CST. Love the color. It really doesn't show the dirt.

Dfi's car is black... uh, I mean green/yellow with pollen. My car is silver so it doesn't show the green/yellow from pollen.

Ahhh to have a silver car again. I have a black car and it seems to be staying yellow longer than usual this year. And of course I am sneezing my head off and my eyes are watering like crazy. Love that pollen!
