Poll! Where Do You Like To Stay Most?

I'm just curious as to where people like to stay most. Which is your favorite resort?

This is a hard question...I know--it seems silly since it's just about a favorite resort. I guess it depends...DH and I stayed at the GF for our honeymoon so it will ALWAYS be my special favorite (not to mention veryyyyyy luxurious!!). I also LOVE VB for its tranquility and peace...that's a true vacation. But when at WDW, I love the hustle and bustle of the BWV. I have never stayed at OKW or VWL but I would probably find some reason to make those my favorite too! LOL! I know...didn't answer the question right?!

While OKW is home and the favorite, HH can run a close second.

We so loved OKW after our first stay there, we have not done anything else since! I keep saying we will try BWV once, and we liked WL so would probably like VWL, but OKW is just like Home to us!

We are OKW owners and haven't stayed there in almost two years. Last year, we tried BWV and although it is a beautiful resort, I always felt like I was in the middle of an attraction itself because of the hustle and bustle. Of course, that is what attracts some people to begin with so to each his own....

We just love the laid back atmosphere of OKW. After days of constant activity, it's great to stroll around in the beauty of OKW, feed the ducks, or go for a boat ride. A big part of vacation for us is to unwind and we haven't felt that at some of the Disney resorts. We certainly do at OKW, and that is why we are thrilled to be going down for 11 nights this October. We are all counting down the days!

Sorry, can't pick one favorite from among all my "children". There's something I love about each and every one of them.

Let's see. I love VB for the R & R. My home is OKW and we stayed for the first time last month and truly fell in love with it. Our next visit is in 24 days and we will be staying at OKW and VWL. My DH favorite resort is WL so I can say he would vote on the VWL for his favorite.

They all are great in there own way!

I can't answer this question yet! We did stay at OKW once, but won't get to try our home resorts until January. The wait is killing us.

I'm interested in seeing the results as more of those with an opinion answer....

We love them all, for each has it's own unique attractiveness. We voted for OKW, first it's our home resort, and second, I especially enjoy it for these reasons: 1. It's at WDW. 2. It's the largest area wise, I feel more like home than in a hotel complex. 3. We can park the car out front. 4. It has the largest units.

Yes, much of this has been said in other posts, but again, that's why it's our favorite.

I suspect the voting may follow similar proportions to the number of people who have the various resorts as their home resorts. It's be interesting to hear from anyone who picked a non-home resort as their favorite.

DW and I are BWV owners, and while we like the location at BWV, but when we need a nice relaxing vacation it's off to OKW. We love being able to sit on the patio/balconey and look at nature, except for the occasional golfer if we get a golf course view. It's also nice to just have that extra room in the 1BR/2BR to spread out in, at BWV we feel like we're running into each other if we're both up and moving around.

OKW is our home. We did stay at Boardwalk once but had a less than desirable experience. OKW is everything we want in a resort. It's late back with beautiful grounds, large accomodations, great views from the porches but just a short bus or boat ride away from any type of excitement you could want. We'll be trying WLV in October. Can't wait.

So far it looks like Keywest is winning. I have to agree that I like Old Key West as well.
