I really didn't have a clique. I had friends in all the areas.

You didn't have a place for bookish, smart kid who was very popular come test time, but not really full on geek. There were also band geeks and drama geeks who don't fall into the straight geek category because they thought they were popular.

I also was a rah rah burnout. Or a pot smoking cheerleader. Never did fit in with either group, really, but I desperately wanted to. In fact, I'd be surprised if more than a handful of people reply that they fit in during high school; none of the people I know did. Not the stuff of happy memories, at least not for me

I was a combo, part burn-out part "A" lister.

I'd love to go back to just one day of my senior year of H.S.!

I would have to say none of the above.

I was not a cheerleader, nor the most popular girl, but I was involved in a lot of extracurricular activities and had lots of friends just like me. I did have some cheerleader/jock friends, but I also had friends that were geeks and burnouts. I guess you could describe me as happily very average. I hated to see anyone unhappy, so I was also one to befriend the "outcasts".

I feel fortunate to say that I loved every minute of high school.

I had a blast in high school! jock/burnout/"you'll never live to see 20" :)

I was the quiet child that all the teachers liked. I did what I was told, always did my homework, never got into trouble, but would never rat out the trouble maker either.
And kids in all the different cliques would talk to me.

Woo Hoo this is my 2000th post! :hyper:

I would say "other"

I was THAT girl in high school who had "abnormal" hair color - a different one every week (pink/purple/blue/green/whatever.)

One time the field hockey team decided to dye their hair green before a game. (felt like a slap in the face to me)

but the fools used kool aid and ruined their uniforms when it rained (and their pretty blonde hair! heheh)

I also bought all my clothes from salvation army, was known to wear a flannel bathrobe to school...smoked on the sidewalk, had my ears pierced to the hilt (no body piercings until college).

Even though my "look" was off...I still got along really well with the teachers (never caused trouble, decent grades, was well liked by teachers), was president of a few clubs... I think the best way to describe me is "other". heheh

I was a band geek, knew I was a geek and was ok with it...... :)

I really don't know where i fall either! I did play sports, and i was friends with a lot of different people but not the most popular in school.

Pam

I was a jock (ran track, played basketball, lettered in both), I was a bander (played clarinet, lettered in that also), and was also in the top 5% of the class. I was part of the "normals", the "jocks", the "punks", the "geeks", the "nerds", the not so populars, and the populars crowd. The only people I didn't hang around were the bullies.

I was a Drama Geek... But I went to Hollywood High were it was really cool to the in the drama dept!

Burnout all the way, 1979-1983. Kinda "prepped up" somewhat Sr. year.

Man I should have saved my bells & concert T's!!!!

I wan't posting about cliques. Maybe you misunderstood.

I was a pot smoking, beer drinking cheerleader:drinking: :cheer2: :cool1:

I loved High School!

I guess you could call me a geek/jock.

I was in all of the science clubs, but I was pretty good on the football team too. I definitely felt more comfortable with the geeks, but some of my best friends were jocks.
