I love to hear about Character Meals that I have not tried yet so would love to hear all of your expert opinions!!
We have done:
Chef Mickeys - dinner: We enjoyed this meal and we could see the fireworks over the castle from our table while we ate..coooool!

Cindy Castle -breakfast: AWESOME!! Food was excellent and the characters we great with the kids and eating in a CASTLE ~come on!...ok ok ok I admit I was soooo teary! It was truely MAGIC!

Crystal Palace -lunch: Loads of good food...really interesting buffet items..great desserts! Characters where alot of fun to see(even when they were not at your table!)

Donalds Resturauntasauros - breakfast: Tons of fun..characters were really great and the waiters were entertaining as well doing magic tricks and playing jokes! Breakfast was out of this world good! plus the early seating let us do DINOSAUR ride 3 x with JUST US!

So what is your favorite?

I have to agree with mom2smjn. The breakfast at Cindy's castle is fantastic. We love everything about it and try to eat there everytime we're in the world.

While I like all the charecter breakfasts. Many times the best one is a memory.

When DS was 8, I believe, we checked into the GF and immediately went to breakfast. He is now 20. Back in those days, Charecter Breakfasts were not common and very special.

DS was eating breakfast when Mary Poppins came by and spent a good bit of time with us. Very Special!

What made it magical was that afternoon in the MK at the 3:00 parade when we watched Mary Poppins walking down the street in the parade. She saw us and came up to DS and said " I saw you at breakfast this morning! How is your day going?" Well you could have blown us all over with a feather!

Pixie Dust lives and grows at WDW!

We took my nephew to his first Disney trip. He was 7 and I was a bit worried that he would find the characters too "baby-ish". I need not have worried! I almost cried when he told Mickey "I love you!"

The food was great too! But the character interaction was fantastic!

Our all time favorite character breakfast is also our all time favorite meal in all of WDW..... Crystal Palace. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and the best character interaction around. We go at least twice each trip.

Our second favorite is Chef Mickey's (it's a very close second). We have also done both Princess breakfast's and we thought the Castle was very, very overated. We had horrible food and only one princess come to our table... maybe it was because we have no children but that has not been our experience elsewhere. Norway's breakfast was pretty good. We did not like the "family style" presentation but the restaurant itself and character interaction more then made up for it.

Another vote for Cindy's. The atmosphere was absolutely regal.
Service was awesome, my son was adressed as the "prince", and myself, "your highness". This is something that I always wanted to do, and it was totally worth every penny.:D

I like Cape May for Breakfast-great service beautiful resort, great food.

CP for lunch has something for adults & kids. I think the set up is plus the Char can move around well at this one, lots of room.

Chef Mickey's - Every time we go to WDW my son HAS to go to Chef Mickey's first. The music is pretty neat, and it's just got a really fun party atmosphere. It's bright and open and gets you in the "Disney" mood. It's a great place to start your Disney vacation.:bounce: :Pinkbounc :jester:

My favorite character meal is 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. The food is awesome and the characters were a blast. The queen of hearts made me curtsy before her and DH got a great picture. Mary Poppins was charming and so was Alice (we did the villians dinner and the character breakfast so I may have some of my characters confused but we had a great time at both meals).

A close second is Donald's breakfast at the AK followed by PSB breakfast where we had Cindy at our breakfast! I asked her what she was doing there and she said Snow White had to stay home with one of the dwarfs because he was sick. Too cute. I am looking forward to trying CRT next month as well as the Crystal Palace breakfast and expect to love both of them!

Our Favorite has to be the little known one at MGM's Hollywood and Vine with Minnie and Goofy!! Minnie and Goofy are dressed to the nines!! You get a great floor show and the most Fab food in WDW!!
