I've been reading about lots of options for anti-chafting for Disney and I can't decide which to get. I am thinking of just getting one of everything. :rotfl2:

So those of you who have been before what have you tried what works best? If you pick other please share what you use.

Thanks!!! :flower3:

Just wanted to note that the anti-chafing creams (Monistat, Lanacane, etc) are very different from Body Glide. They are gels that dry to a powdery-soft feel. Body Glide is like a deodorant stick.

I love the Monistat gel, but hate Body Glide (I'm one of the weird few who find it "sticky" and uncomfortable.)

Body glide is clearly at the top of my list.Gold Bond just came out with a new product similar to Body Glide called Friction Defense that I bought and put it to the test on a 13 mile run, overall it worked OK but Body Glide is better in my opinion. These products are a must for me anytime I go for a run or go to a theme park in hot weather or a waterpark or the beach. The Gold Bond product is available at Walgreens and if your area is like mine it should be easy to find as there are Walgreens on every corner.Body Glide is a little harder to find but worth it to go looking for it,I get it at a runners store.

We have used both Lanacane and Monistat in WDW and thought they both worked really well.

I agree that nothing works as well as the real Body Glide. I've used the Monistat antichafing and it did not work as well when I was out all day. Body Glide you can put on in the morning and forget about it, until the next day. Around here I used to get it at Dick's Sporting Goods, but Dick's has now started carrying the Mission antichafing. Do not use it. It takes twice as much, feels messy, and doesn't work. A tube of Body Glide usually lasts me multiple trips, but I used a tube of the Mission Anti chafing in a week and ran out for the last day of my trip, even though it's the same size as the Body Glide.:confused3

My eldest son is a volunteer fireman. He and his fireman buddies all swear by Body Glide for their groin and inner thigh areas. They have all tried other products (Gold Bond, Baby Powder, antiperspirant, Monkey Butt Powder, etc) over the years, but he says they always come back to Body Glide, because it works best.

LOVE BODY GUIDE!! It is probably the first thing on my packing list! Band Aid makes a version - smaller container than what I have for Body Glide and it barely got me through the morning. Body Glide!

Always put Body glide between my toes for my flip flops. Works great!

Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel was awesome...works for legs, feet, arms, wherever you tend to chafe. Easy to apply because it's not a stick, washes off with soap & water, but will last for hours after application. We won't go to WDW without it.

Me, too! I dislike Bodyglide but love the Monistat anti-chaffing cream. I like the fact that it dries to a powdery finish. Plus it's easier to find in stores than Bodyglide (which only seems to be sold in sporting goods stores).

Another vote for Body Glide -- it got me through 2 marathons and countless sticky summer training runs with zero chaffing. There's a travel sized Body Glide that's perfect to throw in a bag or pocket for re-applying during the day.

I use Body Glide when I run and it works wonderfully. Last year, my poor DD got chaffed and I forgot to pack it. We tried vasoline, but that didn't work too well.
