Poll: Room noise levels

Rooms with connecting door seem to be the noisiest regardless of resort. The room at the All Star I remember as being the noisiest of all had a connecting door. We are just two adults but we could hear every word that our neighbor and two young children said. Just tried turning up the TV.

I agree with the other posters about the Poly. While the connecting rooms are a problem as far as noise, it's also all in the neighbors you happened to be lucky or unlucky enough to get. We never had a problem there, until our third stay. Our neighbors were the pits! Their youngest child (a toddler) woke up around 6 am every morning and screamed non-stop for over an hour to get out of her crib. I know kids will be kids, but the parents were as loud as she was. No one ever talked. They only yelled. It sounded like the kids were bouncing each other off the walls and off our connecting door. It wouldn't have been so bad if my DGS wasn't sick with Asthmatic Bronchitis and needed his sleep, but our noisy neighbors made each morning most unpleasant.

It's a lovely resort, but just thought I'd mention our experience there.

Just started a new thread instead of replying to this one. We recently stayed at POR and it was very quiet until 5 AM when we were awoken by
the neighbors shower being turned on. We couldn't believe how noisy the plumbing was.
