Nope not me. I always bring my container of loose leaf tea for my breakfast caffeine fix! Coffee never tastes as good as it smells (at least not to me). I hate tea bag tea, especially Twinings - that stuff is truly horrible. My DH, however, it's coffee all the way. We usually make a trip to DS to the Joffrey's store for him so he can brew it in the room. So, yes, for him: coffee. Me: tea.

This is bringing back traumatic memories of missing our Rope Drop advantage because my mom had to stop for Starbucks on Main Street MK.

Sorry, but I'm not a coffee drinker - and will never understand why Starbucks was more important than 7DMT in that moment. 🤷‍♀️
Staying with the theme....would you want to ride 7DMT with Grumpy?

Disney lover. Coffee hater. I don't even like anything coffee, toffee, or mocha flavored. Yuck.

That's why we take a Keurig and have since they came out. I've never found a decent cup of coffee at WDW outside of my own room. Period. Jeoffrey's tastes like dirt and starbucks created an entire empire of off selling all the burnt roasted coffee beans in the world at 10x market value and convincing all the children that it was the greatest coffee in the world. Genius, yes. But if you've ever had a good cup of coffee, you know that the coffee sucks.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one toting coffee supplies to DVC. I used to bring my grinder and beans. Now for shorter trips, I just grind the beans at home (night before we leave). I also bring two special tall mugs, since I heat my milk & don't care for short mugs. If DVC switches to Keurigs, I may start traveling with my Mocamaster.

Almost always, even my iced coffee. Unless it happens to be particulary bitter...then I add creamer.

With a user name like @TheDailyMoo I'd think you'd only drink it with real half and half. ;)
I love half and half in my coffee but I tend to drink it black. Started off more for health reasons then I realized I like the taste of good quality coffee. But I agree if it's akin to gas station coffee then I'm putting in the creamer. FWIW I subscribe to Panera's sip club where you get a coffee or iced coffee every 2 hours and lemme tell ya...I get my money's worth in a few days! If Panera only knew what I was doing to their coffee profit margins.

I normally have a little half and half in my coffee. There are exceptions to that. Last time I was at MK (from 8 AM to 1 AM!) I had a straight double espresso at 9 PM when I started to lose my second wind.

Every trip I get a refillable Disney mug and drink so much coffee that the darn mug turns brown I get horrible acid reflux… but I don’t care!!! I figure $22.99 for the mug and I probably drink 35-40 cups over the course of the week. That saves a lot of moola and no fussing with the in-room stuff. (Although I do take the prepackaged in-room Joffreys coffee and make it back home). The only regret is that I don’t treat myself to say Le Petite cafe at RIV or Carousel at BWV… although you think their drip coffee is the same stuff I get from the quick service anyway??

My husband more than I am. We bring an Aeropress (its less mess than a French Press and travels easy) and grounds. My husband only drinks Tanzanian Peaberry with a light roast. I prefer a medium roast and a Sumatra - so we need two sets of beans - one pot is suboptimal. I dislike Keurigs because of the waste and lack of choice in pre-filled pods (and the fill your own reusable pods are really messy and don't make a great cup of coffee).

Despite the mess, I have a decent espresso machine at home as well. I use Illy's espresso ground in that.

My husband hates Starbucks with a passion, so that's a no go. And Joffery's tastes like stuff they gave us for free in the office when I worked a corporate job - in a pinch, sure I'll drink it. But I don't like it.

We are both half and half and sugar people, so grounds shouldn't be THAT big a deal, yet they are.

Are you passionate about getting your daily dose of Java while at Disney? I know I am!
If you hear people at Disney saying something like "It's too hot out for coffee!" is this your reaction?
It is NEVER too hot for coffee. You just need to find a cool space to drink it in. As for Joffrey's, I don't mind it for the most part, although that 50th Anniversary Blend was not particularly good. I'll never understand why they decided a dark roast was the best choice for the standard blend in every room, when it only appeals to a minority of tastes. I also don't mind Starbuck's lighter roasts, for brewing a full pot for morning or evening consumption, but anything Pike's Place or darker is just oily and burned. I reserve better roasts for pour-overs, and I'm usually not motivated to go to that bother on vacation (but definitely at home).

For me, when at WDW, the most important thing is my Brita pitcher. Swamp water will make even the best 100% Kona or Kauai roast taste terrible. Oh, and only real 1/2 & 1/2 and turbinado sugar as well (love the hint of molasses).

Coffee first thing is a must for me whether I am home or anywhere on vacation. It’s never too hot for coffee. I am not that picky though and can usually be perfectly happy with making the first cup in the room. I wake up early, around 4/430 so I make a cup in the room. Later on, when the qs place opens I’ll grab a refillable mug of coffee. If we have a table service scheduled, I’ll make that qs service coffee a decaf so I can have the table service coffee, which is usually pretty good.

At home, I drink black coffee once in awhile (when doing intermittent fasting). I much prefer creamer, usually nut pods. I typically include it in my instacart grocery order at Disney.

I don’t typically buy coffee when I’m at the parks. I never quite understand why people stand at Starbucks in that line in the morning . Starbucks is gross. If you are going to drink gross coffee, drink the cheap stuff at your hotel before getting to the parks. I guess if you need on after morning time you have to, but I tend to switch to Diet Coke once afternoon hits on vacation. I dropped my Diet Coke habit years ago but let myself drink it on vacation. 😍 love it.

@tidefan - we are heading to Aulani in Nov. and I am going to head to Costco just from seeing that coffee mentioned on this board. I hope it’s as good as it sounds. Will have a cup on my balcony in your honor🙂

It's my favorite coffee. As a sidenote, Royal Kona is just a sub-brand of the Hawaii Coffee Company. Lion Coffee is the more ubiquitous sub-brand of Hawaii Coffee Company, and it also does a nice Vanilla Macadamia Nut, however, I prefer the Royal Kona version...
