I totally get feeling safer, thats why we loved ME back when my son was 5 when we went. Since we have to pay now and it takes so long compared to other options is why I considered other options. If ME comes back I can for sure see us using it again in future.

It’s taken about one hour for us every time. I suspect if you travel at odd hours you wait a lot longer but we don’t do that. Hasn’t been bad at all. Certainly beats the uncertainty of weirdo rideshare drivers I’ve had.

I always book Mears when traveling with my kids. Feels safer to ride a large bus with a commercial driver than in a less regulated car. I’ve never had any issues; it’s always been a relaxing easy ride. The fact that it is cheaper too is a cherry on top for me.

I for sure would lie about my flight time. I arrive at the airport with the bare minimum of spare time possible. I don't do that 3 hour advance nonsense.

We used Gear Fusion for our arrival. He knew our flight was early which was nice as he was already there waiting for us. We had to use the restroom and took a wrong turn and ended up in departures, I think he was a bit annoyed by that which is understandable. I may or may not use a car service again, it’s stressful when you know someone is waiting on you.

We took a Lyft extra comfort back to the airport. At first I was like oh nooo when he started driving before my som was able to put his seatbelt on, and he knew it wasn’t on. The rest of the drive was fine, he didn’t speed or anything. The ride at 5pm on a Monday was $37.62 plus tip.

I think you are overthinking it - grab a Uber and get on with enjoying your vacation!

I am at stand still with my ability to decide what I should do for transportation. We aren't super tight on budget and are willing to spend if it's 100% worth it.
For reference we arrive at 6:02 AM on a Wednesday 04/16. We depart at 7:00pm on a Monday 04/21. 2 adults and a 9 year old

This is the pricing for private cars I have obtained, one way pricing shown below. I have no clue what Lyft/Uber would cost. I would likely have a coupon and credit card offer to bring the Lyft price down 15%-25%

DH wants to Uber/Lyft. He has used these services much more than me. My experience with it has been hit or miss. As I am typing this I am leaning towards Gear Fusion. Thoughts?

I agree with your husband. Your group could fit comfortably in a regular Uber and it would be less expensive that most of your list, although with tip you'd match Gear Fusion. We stay at AK-J a lot and usually use Mears. AK-J always seems like the last, or almost last, stop so you are looking at a good 90 minutes after landing at MCO to AK.
