POLL for Sigma Delta Meet 2004

OKay to all those interested in the July 2004 Sigma Delta Meet please respond to this poll! In order to approach the Swan - Dolphin Resort Management for extra "perks" for our stay, I need to have some idea if we are able to meet our minimum of 10 units. (RE: 1 Room for 10 nights, 10 rooms for 1 night or any combination therof!) I am sure that won't be a problem, but it helps to have a ballpark number to work with.

I realize it may be early for some of you to commit, this is just the preliminary planning. More details will continue to follow about the particulars for the meet. Most of us qualify for the following room discounts at the Swan and Dolphin: Teacher, Nurse, Gov't employee, AP, FL Resident, SPG Plat or Gold Status. What would be nice, is if we could convince the Mgmt to give us complimentary Club Level Status for our stay. That might be accomplished through numbers!

I checked July 30th (my wedding anniversary!) but July 23rd would be fine, too. I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that it is doable for us.






Just checked the poll and saw that July 16th is out in front. I can do that, too. The month of July is pretty flexible for me - anytime after the 4th.

Our AP's expire on July 27th? (or thereabouts).... this will probably be our last hurrah for the year!

That the middle to end of July is going to be the big winner here! What we'll do is make our plans so that those who are coming the week before or the week after can join us! Some will be just arriving and some will be getting ready to go home. That will give us the most flexibility methinks!

I won't fly in until the 17th so I am game for either starting on the 16th (i'll just be late as usual) or even the 23rd. I may have company the 23rd weekend so who knows!!!

If you KNOW for sure you are going to be at the Swan or Dolphin Resort in the vicinity of July 16th or later, please post or PM me so I can get a broad idea of how many "room units" we can account for towards our minimum of 10. (*I know some of you were already planning to go during this time frame and we can use those rooms as well for our quota!) I will be visiting James in November and emailing him of our plans. It will be nice to have some (not all) definites in place so he can start working on a discounted rate or making CL available to the sorority.
