I assume you're talking about the train, not the movie. Occassionally they offer early bird discounts by booking when booking first opens, but other than that, they don't offer discounts. As it is, most dates are already sold out so they have no need to offer a discount.

The one in my area (NH), you have to enter a lottery to even have a chance at a ticket, never mind a discount. I paid a small fortune to do this with my kids a few years back, but they still believe we went to the North Pole, so it was worth every single penny.

So, you can actually go on some sort of trip/ride or whatever?? I've never heard of it.

The movie Polar Express is somewhat of a Christmas Eve tradition for us. My kids and I have watched it every year for the last 4 years or so. I love that movie.

If you mean the actual train ride, I cant imagine the you can still get tix. We bought ours in June and it was sold out by August. If you mean the movie, I have no idea.

Yes, in NE OH there is an operating railroad that runs through the National Park. During Christmas, they operate "the Polar Express". When my kids were younger, tickets would sell out fast, usually going on sale in June or July....and we never made it. Now they are too old. :sad1:

For the OP, I've never seen a discount for the PE. But one year when Blossom used to do the holiday lighting display we took the kids. Along the ride home we drove around a bit to just look at lights on folk's homes. Going home we passed by a huge display........and decided to park and walk over. We didn't know it, but we had found the North Pole. We were told that we had to wait until the train stopped so the kids wouldn't see "non-elves".......and then we were free to go ahead and walk around.

Our kids actually believed us when we told them we got lost and somehow we ended up at the north pole. LOL Best of all.........we did it for free. If I remember right......it's the Boston Mills stop on Boston Mills Rd. If you can't swing the ticket price......perhaps you can just get lost and visit like we did.

regards
