We were in Epcot in April 2004. We visited the Japan pavillion and my sons saw Pokemon cards in one of the Japan shops. Does anybody know what the shop name is and/or are these special Pokemon cards that can't be bought elsewhere?

I have a friend going this weekend and thought it would be neat to have them pick up some cards for my boys.

Thanks!

I don't know about not being available anywhere else, but we picked up a couple packs for DS in September. They were completely written in Japanese and he thought they were great!

I think the place you saw the cards in was the Mitsukoshi Department store, I remember seeing them there too last October, they had a pretty large collection of trading cards. I noticed them as my nephew was into them at that time (they were the Japanese editions, I'm not sure if they had the English versions of not) I love that store.

They have both English and Japanese version of the cards there. My kids bought them there last year. The cashier will tell you that you have the Japanese version if you pick them up by mistake. The department store is correct.

They don't have them anywere else besides Japan..though they have a bunch of cards..of all kinds, they have both Japaness and English cards so make sure you get the english ones... (unless you can read jap.)
