Points Transfer

Can someone answer this one for me. I am looking into a points transfer with another member. They are Boardwalk, we are SSR. I am wanting to book Boardwalk 11 months out. If he transfers his Boardwalk points to me, will it retain the Boardwalk home resort, or does it become my home resort of SSR?

Transfered points will retain BWV identity and the BWV use year.
