Points transfer Wanted

HI, I am new to the concept of transfer. I have three home resports and am looking to take my entire family to WDW next November (11-25 to 12-3, 2011) for my mom's 65th bday. My mom has always wanted to stay at the contemporary. I am an owner at BLT but am still short. I am looking for a transfer of points that I could add for that timeframe. I am thinking I need between 200-300, the more the better. Can anyone help me out?

Also please don't let the fact that i am new to posting make you learry of me. My husband and i own 1000 points. They are split between three resorts. Im just trying to keep everyone at one resort

I have up to 500 points which are available for transfer. I am not sure exactly how this works but I am sure we could figure it out. We have been members of DVC since 1997 and I have rented points before but never transferred. I am sure it is a very simple process and we could call Member Services about how to accomplish it. Let me know if you are interested.

Is your home resort BLT. I need the 11 month booking window to match mine

I have two home resorts...Old Key West and Sarasota Springs. So I guess the booking window would be seven months.

Like I said, I am not sure how point transfers work but it seems that if you transferred points into your account that they would have the same booking window which you have. Maybe you should contact Member Services and check on this. In any case, let me know if I can help.

Hi Chrissy,

I too am new to this transfer/rent process, but I have 139 points at BLT that I could transfer to you. My use year is March. All points are for 2011. Not sure if this helps.
