Points taken but no reservation...

Was looking to see if a reservation for what I have waitlisted in March was available (too many stories here of that happening so I thought I'd randomly check) and it WAS! So I booked it, ok'd it to borrow points and then website said that it had an error. I backpaged to try to start over, and the contract that the points were "borrowed" from are now down by that amount. And there is no reservation listed as made...

And so I thought, I'd better get that room and they can straighten out the points later, and now there is no availability. And of course member services is closed.

Log out and back on, maybe things will be correct, if not give MS a call in the morning.

I had something similar happen last year - in the evening. The room was still locked in in my case but MS had to put in a trouble ticket with IT to correct the issue.
