Points/seasons?

Is DVC like regular CRO when making a reservation based on season. Meaning if you check in on the last day of value season, are your points per night based completely on the value season rate, or do you get one night of value, and then the rest of your rate would be the next season.
Does that make sense?

Thurs Jan 31 - 11 pts - value
Fri Feb 1 - 26 pts - Dream
Sat Feb 2 - 26 pts - Dream
Sun Feb 3 - 13 pts - Dream
Mon Feb 4 - 13 pts - Dream
