points returning back to your account

my use year sept. i made ressies with 2005 points for jan.2005,
i just canceled the ressies and ms they will return those points back to 2004 use year, fine.

then i was going to make ressies with a few left over 2003 points for a july ressies and borrow i guess my 2004 points for the ressies, now ms said if i cancel the july ressies, those 2004 will carry the 2003 use year and will have to be used before aug. 31, is that right, i thought i was in 2004 use year.

You aren't in the 2004 use year until September 2004. Right now, even though it's 2004 in the calendar year, you are still working on a use year that is 2003. The only people that are in the 2004 use year are those with Feb and March use years.

that is what ms had explain, so why didnt my 2005 borrowed points go back into 2003 use year , instead ms said 2004 use year.

i think you're confusing yourself... you're forgetting that when you borrowed points from 2005, they get put into your 2004 Use Year.

a reservation for arrival in Jan 2005 is in your 2004 Use Year. if you cancel that reservation, all points get put back in your 2004 Use Year.

also, here are the exact dates of your 2003 + 2004 UYs:

2003 UY = 9/1/03 to 8/31/04
2004 UY = 9/1/04 to 8/31/05
