Points Reservation Question

We recently purchased DVC. We have a June use year. We have two contracts, one at BLT and one at AKV. We currently have 320 points available for this use year, and will be receiving 320 more points next June, but will not be making a trip until next June. Can I call now and make a reservation at BLT for next June using our points or do I have to bank this years points first and then make the reservation? TIA for your help

They will bank your points when you call to make the reservation. They just did this for me last week, when I was making a reservation for next May.

since you are more than 7 months out, you can book BLT with your BLT pts or AKV with your AKV pts but can't mix them. but yes, you can call and bank pts while you are making the reservation.

You can bank and reserve on the same call, but to be clear, make sure the CM does the banking transaction first and then uses those points to make the reservation.
