Points report?

Hi! We are in the process of buying our first DVC. All closing docs and funds have been submitted and the title company said they are waiting on the points report to verify the points available are correct. Any idea how long that usually takes? Thanks!

That's commonly referred to as the "estoppel." It looks like that's been issued at the same time as ROFR for most people.

We passed or ROFR weeks ago so i guess they did this separately

Ok all good! I asked for clarification and she said it’s just where they ask for points activity from the seller to verify the correct amount of points before closing.

That is different than estoppel. Estoppel doesn’t include anything related to points..it is the financial piece that shows dues are paid and the balance of any loan if finacined with DVD.

I have sold many and always had to provide an updated point’s activity after ROFR.

In looking at your post in the closing thread your seller returned their documents 4/13 - so 5 days ago, depending on which title company you have (some are really fast, others take a bit longer) you should close in the near future, then you wait for DVC to send you two emails which enable you to set up your account, then for the points to be loaded so you can book your trip - good luck.
