Points on Record card question

Everyone keeps talking about how your Record Card needs to be clean. Obviously the goal should be to have no points but how many points can you have and still get accepted for an internship down the road. Will they look back at your CP record card from months ago? will this stay with you forever. We are talking about 1.5-2 points.

From what I understand, the points expire from active consideration after a certain amount of time, but they will remain on your card. For example, if you get 1 point for being late and then 181 days later get another point, you will only have 1 point towards a reprimand, but you will have 2 points on your record.

I've done 2 CPs in Fall '08 and Spring '10. I don't have access to my record card anymore, but by the time my Spring '10 program ended, I was sitting on about 30 points and 2 reprimands. Yes, I know that's ridiculous and I won't get in to explaining the points or making excuses. The fact is, I was accepted into the Fall '13 program awhile ago, so they must not take points into much consideration as far as future CPs go. I certainly wasn't the model CP, but I felt my experience with the points system would be helpful for this thread, and I don't plan on getting any more points myself this Fall. I'm not sure about PI's and what they look at as far as the record card goes.
I know as long as you're employed by Disney, they only take the past 6 months of your record card into consideration when you apply for transfers.

That is correct. When it comes to applying for future programs, or transferring roles (going full-time or part-time), only the last 6 months are used. HOWEVER, when it comes to discipline decisions, a CM's ENTIRE record card is pulled.

Points can be used towards reprimands for 12 months. As mentioned, they never go away, but after 12 months they stop accuring towards reprimands.
