You can buy one time use points from DVC when you make the reservation. They are $15 and you can get a maximum of 24. The site says you can also use them for the Adventurer Collection and they can be used according to the booking guidelines for the individual collection.

I'm not certain about ABD but you have to wait until the 7 month mark to buy the one-time-use points for DVC resorts. Worth a call to MS to find out.
