Points for Rent/Transfer: 19 HOLDING Points Oct. Use Year - $9.50/pt

I'm seeking either another DVC member for a transfer transaction OR someone looking for a single night reservation that starts no later than 60 days from the day of booking:

I have 19 points in HOLDING status that can be used to book any DVC resort BUT ONLY for reservations that occurs within 60 days of day of booking/calling. For those who are interested in a transfer to your DVC account, these are OKW points that expire September 30, 2010. According to DVC, all transferred points retain their original Use Year Month and DVC Home Resort, and holding points will retain their "holding" status.

Ask $9.50 per point ($180.50 for all 19 points). Paypal preferred, and I ask that you pay any related Paypal fees.

I have transferred points only once to another DIS member years ago, and I can try and locate her for a reference if necessary. I have rented a few times over the years to other DIS members and I can provide rental references upon request.

If you can't do the transfer...I have been looking for 19 lowly points for a one night at BLT. I'm willing to pay more than your asking price for a reservation. Let me know.

Thanks for your interest. I didn't bother with a for rent offer mainly because I didn't think anyone would/could use 19 points on a reservation. But I checked your other posts and it appears that you are looking for a September reservation. Unfortunately, while I would be interested in your offer, I wouldn't even be able to check for you until July since these are "Holding Status" points, which limits me to usage for reservations within 60 days of calling/booking.

I might be interested...I already have the reservation in June, so I would need to understand how these points could be used in Lieu of the points we used to hold the reservation. Paypal would be fine with us. Thanks, rsncan

My friend is looking to stay at AKL. They are staying off property using the condo they have points with, but she really wants to spend one night on property at AKL/Savannah view. The AKL Savannah view is 15 pts. conceirge is 17 pts. Would you be willing to take $8.50 a point?
