Hi vgriffith- to answer your question, no there is not a charge for transferring points, you are however only allowed to do it once in a calendar year. Also if you are just a few points shy, they now allow you to purchase developer points for a one time use and they are $15 per point. This is also something you can only do once in a calendar year and I think you can purchase up to 20 points.

I am looking at the OKW villas and was wondering if you had a opening for Sept. 18th through the 24th. We have 4 adults and would like to have park passes and the park hopping privilege. We have read that there is a free dining plan available to any moderate and above accommodations reservations, would this be included?( We will also need insurance in case of cancellation due to ailing in-laws). This will be our first time at Disney World and want to see it all, but looking for reasonable prices!! We need about 127 points. Just let me know ASAP, thanks, Shiela Blackwood

just to let you know, you would not get FREE dining if you rented DVC points

You have to book with Disney directly and pack rack rate for the rooms in order to get the FREE dining, thus, in a way you are paying for the "dining" in the prices you pay for the room. I also think that you have to book a mininum number of days with that package to get the free DINING.

on another note, this poster has not YET replied to anyone it seems and as you can see most point rental prices on the board are ~ 9$ and higher
