Points for DCL Dream?

Will Member Services have the points for the DCL Dream cruises available starting Monday?

The cruises on Disney Dream are not available to book until Nov. 9...there is currently no pricing available for these cruises, so I doubt MS would have any point information until the regular pricing comes out.

Gold and Platinum Castaway Club Members can book new itineraries and ships 7 days before the general public. That should be Mon the 2nd.

MS will be open at 8AM on 11/2 & 8AM on 11/9 to handle DCL ressies as posted on the website; however, I don't see points info posted yet.

Hmmm....Somehow I doubt the point charts will be out next week. But I am curious of the point costs. It should not be much more then the other two cruise ships.

Just wanted to let everyone know I called DVC today to find out when the points charts will be out. I am Curious as to what it will cost us to go. They told me they will be out this weekend and to call back on Sunday. Since if I decided to go on the Dream I could book it Monday.

Can you believe that Sunday is November 1st. Wow. We also push are clocks back this weekend.

Thanks for the info! We had planned to use our DVC points for Alaska but ended up not - but now we want to use them for the Dream - if someone gets points for various categories / sailings, I'd love to know what they are going for ... we won't book right away as I don't think we can go in 2011 - but maybe....

We booked as Gold Members the day it opened for Alaska bookings and the DVC points were only available on the phone with MS at booking time..

I have not checked the website today so perhaps they may be out, but I think not. They should be out before booking day for the general public opens, however. If not, at least we will have some feedback on the DIS tomorrow after the Platinum/Gold members call in and obtain some point requirements.

Also joining the club here for interest in booking the Dream, but not tomorrow.

Point charts will not be posted until the booking date opens for everyone.

Gold and Platinum members can call MS today and if they know the itinerary and Cat they want to book, MS will tell them the point requirements.

If you jump over to the DCL section of the DIS Boards, there is a sticky up top about the prices/points that people paid today to book on the Dream as a platinum or gold CC member.

You'll have to read through, but there were a number of people who quoted points requirements.

We booked the maiden voyage on 1-26-09 on Monday. Let me give you the points we were given for the categories we were interested in. Please keep in mind this is the MV points which are higher than other sail dates:

Category 5A.... 234 pts pp (Deluxe Fam w/Ver Deck 9 or 10 forward or aft)
5B.... 229 pts pp (Deluxe Family w/Verandah Deck 8 forward or aft)
5C.... 227 pts pp (Deluxe Family w/Ver Deck 7 forward or aft)
5D.... 223 pts pp (Deluxe Family w/Ver Deck 6 forward or aft)
5E.... 219 pts pp (Deluxe Family w/Ver Deck 5 forward or aft)

Category 6A.... 211 pts pp (Deluxe Fam w/nav ver deck 8, 9, 10 forward or aft)
6B.... 209 pts pp (Deluxe Fam w/nav ver deck 5, 6, 7 aft only)

If we wanted to add a 3rd person (adult) to any of those categories listed above it was 148 additional pts. If we wanted to pay cash for the 3rd adult person it was $1,036.

We booked the MV too!!

We plan on staying home Christmas 2011 so the MV is a nice consolation.

Cat 11A for 2A/2jrs was 525 points total. (plus $95 and insurance)

Thank you for the MV information - MV is a 5 night cruise, right? Does anyone have any information for points bookings for the regular 3 & 4 night sailings? I am interested in mid-April 2011 - probably a category 6 range...
