points for clicking

In reading through some of the Trip Report Forums, I have noticed that some people refer to getting free and/or very discounted rooms by "clicking". I assume that they are talking about visiting some website -- Does anyone have any information about this.

They are talking about various Rewards programs on the web, where you get points for visiting sites, reading emails, shopping, etc and then cash out the points for Gift certificates, etc. Lots of information on the Rewards Forum of the IDs boards!
