Points calculator

I am trying to use the points calculator to determine points needed for Hilton Head Island for August 17-21, 2003. I do not get any results after plugging in my dates and selecting studio under Hilton Head/OKW. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure what the problem is. Could be the points aren't in yet or you haven't got the dates in just right.

In any case -- a studio at HHI for August 17-21, 2003 would run 13 points per night Sun-Thurs; 27 points on Friday and 40 points on Saturday. It is premiere season at the resort. (You'll have to check a calendar to match days to points.)

If you're referring to the calculator on the DVC Member's site, I tried using it this morning, and it had (and still has) this notice:

Due to technical difficulties the Vacation Planner Calculator is unavailable at this time.

Apparently you were a victim of the difficulties.

Maybe they need a sign saying "This points calculator is being refurbished for your future enjoyment"

Just a reminder, or if you're new and didn't know this, I created a free points planner spreadsheet that will instantly calculate any vacation plan you'd have by simply clicking your resort and room type directly, and dates directly on a calendar.

It includes all current 6 DVC resorts (OKW, BWV, VWL, BCV, HH, VB) and has points charts through the year 2010.

Thanks for the help. I was using the one here on the DIS. I tried it for the same time frame for this year and it worked fine.Caskbill, I don't have Microsoft Excel at home so I'll use your planner at work. Thanks again
