Points about to expire

My sister in law has * points that she forgot to bank. They will expire on **. Does anyone know what she can do with these points? I told her to post them on the rent/trade board but I don't know if there is even any availability at this time for July. Any ideas? Thanks.

Post them - what do you have to lose ? Doing nothing guarantees that you get nothing for them. Even if everything is completely booked, things do occasionally open up.

Not sure what the rules are for using these points at the other non-DVC resorts at WDW (realize it's not a "great" use of points but may still be able to get some $$ instead of just losing them).

Post the points and see what kind of interest you get, just be realistic about what you may get for them.

Too late to make a reservation at a non-DVC resort at WDW. The old "Rule of Four" has already kicked in.

Might be able to bank with RCI. If renting try to get a reservation then offer it for rent. DVC will often give you one mulligan and allow you to bank in this situation, I'd call them and ask.
