Great shots Jeff!! That's the camera I'm looking at buying DW here soon. I assume you like it then? And what mode were those shot in? I know, I know; a lot of questions. But GREAT SHOTS (in case I forgot to mention that.)
Pay attention students and novices! What Jeff is saying but is too modest to say is, it is the skill of the photographer more than the ability of the camera to take a good or great immage.

Jeff's skill is certainly responsible for these photos, I am sure. Just wanted to clarify that when I said I wish I had a better p&s, it's because mine just stinks in low light, and I'm envious of anyone who has shots taken in moderately low light that aren't filled with noise. I realize you may not have been directing that at me, but I wanted to clarify what I said anyway because I think Jeff is a great photographer!
I didn't really think that. No worries! But I reread my post afterwards, and I didn't want it to sound like I was attributing the quality of the photos to the camera rather than the person behind it.

Jeff, went and had a peek at your EXIF. Did you shoot these in aperture priority? I'm seriously considering buying this camera to toss in my purse. Would you mind giving a little review?

Uhmmm- I think aperature priority- at least on the B&B shots. The rest I think I just left it in some auto-mode that seemd to make sense at the time.
Overall I was happy with the camera except for when the kids were running around playing hard- then the auto focus was just not fast enough to get many keepers (blame the camera! ) so I shot some video clips instead which I was actually impressed with the quality of.
