Greeting cards!

Dropped $20 on Father's day cards and walked out of the store with nothing but a small pile of paper that is probably going to get thrown in the garbage. I should make them myself but I am not that crafty and I always wait to the last minute.

Try Dollar General and Dollar Tree. They have .50 cards. Not quite Hallmark quality, but they're good enough to get thrown in the garbage.

I hate having to spend thousands of dollars for a car, but then have to pay to have the oil changed and other maintenances done after the fact. I know I need to do it, but boy do I hate it!

Right now is cherry season and I spend a fortune every year for about 6 weeks buying cherries at $2.99 up to $3.99 a pound. I'm the only one who eats them in my house, but I can easily go through 5 or 6 pounds a week. It's my big splurge.... gosh I'm pathetic!

The high cost of car insurance just ticks me off, especially since we have never had a claim and no tickets in over 20 years.

School Fee's - Every fall DS would come home with a list of "fee's" associated with his High School: activity fee, book fee, transportation fee, student ID card fee etc. then there were fee's for each of his classes.

He just graduated and I got a letter from the school asking me if I wanted to donate my book fee. If I want my money back, I have to jump thru 10 hoops or I can just ignore the letter and they consider it a donation

Paying for a high school student to have a parking space.

When I was in high school, we paid $3 for a parking decal. Parking was at a premium, so students made sure they got to school early so they wouldn't have to park out in the field. Now, DD has to pay $25 each year for an assigned space.

How about this one: $9000 for 2 semesters of room and board at the Univ. for DS and $375 for a dorm parking pass. Now, why is it not included in the R&B????????

Highway tolls. Every time I drive to see my bf who lives an hour away, it costs me almost $5 in stupid highway tolls. These highways are not kept up well either.

We have to pay $10 for DS to rent a locker at middle school. And it really isn't optional since he has to have one as bookbags aren't allowed in class.

Most of the money seems to go for limo rides and lobster dinners for city councillors

My phone line (land line). DH won't let me cancel it even though EVERYONE in the house has a cell phone.
