Point Usage Question

This may be a silly question, but if we arrive at Vero Beach - or any resort, in the early morning, say 3:00 am on 12/30, are we using points for Saturday night? I am thinking of attempting to get a room in Vero for New Years, also to visit the inlaws, and our flight arrives in Orlando at 11:40pm at night, so we wouldn't arrive at Vero till close to 3:00am? I thought about getting a room at MCO, but if I didnt have to use "Saturday Night Points" because technically we are arriving on Sunday, then we would just make the drive at night and crash? Any thoughts?

it would be a saturday night in hotel terms (unless you're talking about a place that will rent you a room by the hour) - finding something near the airport is probably your best bet.

Thanks - thats what I thought, not sure what I was thinking!!! Just got off the phone with MS, I could get all nights, except of course NYE! Which Is what I figured anyways!! Not sure what DH is thinking attempting to book something this late!!!

Since check in time is officially 4PM for DVC reservations, at 3AM, you are checking in for the day before. So if you arrive at 3AM on Sunday, you are still checking in for the Saturday night.
